Job Description / Responsibility
- Provide strategic and technical leadership support to design/plan and implement the tasks related to monitoring, evaluation and knowledge management for capturing gender equality results of BRAC programmes, departments and enterprises
- Lead the process in providing technical supports for monitoring mechanism i.e. developing tools, protocols, checklists, indicators, guidelines, data collection and analysis for tracking gender equality results of BRAC programmes, departments and enterprises
- Negotiate and ensure conducting baseline, midline and end-line survey/assessment of the programmes/departments/enterprises to capture learning and results
- Ensure coaching support for relevant staff to carry out the work on gender focused monitoring, learning and knowledge management
- Plan, negotiate and organise different internal and external meetings, workshops etc. at various levels for disseminating and sharing the BRAC results and knowledge on gender equality changes
- Lead in-house studies on various thematic issues related to gender equality and women's empowerment
- Provide learning and knowledge supports to GJD as well as BRAC in designing and implementing innovative projects on gender equality issues
- Take a pro-active role in cultivating learning and knowledge from a range of source including academic and development arena
- Identify short and long term M&E technical assistance needs, develop scopes of work for assigned tasks and arrange for contracting of consultants as needed

Educational Requirements
- Masters in Statistics/ Economics/ Anthropology/ Development Studies/ Gender Studies from any recognised national/ international university with minimum 2nd class/ division in all academic examination

- At least 10 year(s)
Job Requirements
- Age At most 50 year(s)
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience with 3 years in a senior position is required. Need to have practical experiences in the areas of monitoring, evaluation and knowledge management in gender and development.
- Have conceptual knowledge on gender, programme management and research methodologies
- Have skills with and able to guide team in using relevant software (such as SPSS) used in research
- Demonstrable experience of publishing high quality reports and articles, and at least 3 publications as book chapter or journal article
- Have excellent understanding of the gender and development context in Bangladesh
- Have strong skills both in English and Bengali
- Excellent team player and building relationship
